The Company’s proprietary mass spec analysis platform enables the rapid discovery
and evaluation of diagnostic signatures. In contrast to other techniques the analysis is
truly high-throughput (over the past 2 years we have analyzed over 3,500 patient samples
resulting in over 35,000 mass spectra), it does not require complicated laboratory procedures,
nor expensive analysis kits (as genomic analysis requires). The Company has shown that they
can rapidly discover, evaluate and validate mass spec based diagnostic signatures in the
whole range of cancer biomarker research and welcomes collaborators.

The Company has numerous projects underway and its areas
of focus are in oncology and degenerative diseases. Within oncology,
the Company continues its research into early diagnostic tools for verifying
lung cancer in high-risk populations, diagnosis of cancer in males with elevated
PSA, alternatives to existing techniques for identifying HER2 positive breast
cancer patients, stratifying aggressive cancers from more benign forms,
stratifying patients for reactions to targeted therapies in
lung and other cancers, and similar efforts.
The majority of the Company’s work has been on serum or tissue samples.
However, we have experience analyzing other types of biological specimens
(urine, CSF, EPF, FNA, LCM, Tissue, etc.).
